About This Opportunity

Come lend a hand and join us in Harlem as we volunteer at one of Harlem Grown’s urban farms. Volunteers will be weeding, transplanting, watering, composting, building, cleaning, and organizing to help support the daily operations of this non-profit that is committed to youth empowerment, food justice, and agricultural sustainability.

Harlem Grown transforms vacant spaces into productive urban farms and greenhouses, using responsible agricultural methods to grow a variety of crops. Produce harvested from their urban farms is distributed to youth and community members, sold to local restaurants, and used in educational activities that promote healthy eating and nutrition.

Make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, bring sun protection, water and a snack. Families are welcome!
